Is Wiggle Budget a budget spreadsheet?

It has one built in. The Spreadsheet view is a real editable grid, click any cell to change it, but unlike a plain spreadsheet it understands money: it keeps a running balance, links payments to debts and accounts, and never breaks a formula because there are no formulas to break.

Does the spreadsheet show a running balance?

Yes. Every entry row shows the balance after that entry, in date order, starting from your real bank balance. You can see exactly where the month dips, including the days you go into deficit, without writing a single formula.

Can I edit cells like in Excel or Google Sheets?

Yes, click a cell and type. Amounts, categories, dates, account and debt links, and status flags are all editable inline. Changes stay local and highlighted until you press Commit, so you can edit freely and only save when the grid looks right.

What can I track in the spreadsheet?

Four tabs in one place: Entries (income and expenses with a running balance), Accounts (balances and type), Debts & Credit (balance, APR, minimum), and Templates (recurring bills you can send onto a month). Filters and sorting keep it focused.

Do my edits save automatically, or do I commit them?

You commit them. Edits are staged locally and shown as unsaved, so a stray keystroke never writes to your data. Press Commit to save the batch, or Discard to drop it, the safety of a draft with the speed of a spreadsheet.
